Our officers and members are active in building a better tomorrow and supporting our democracy. Here are some of the positions taken by ADTC in recent months:

June 7, 2020 – Sponsorship and donation of funds in support of the Acton Community Supper. Volunteer date will be Wednesday, September 16, 2020.

June 7, 2020 – Statement in solidarity against racism, hatred, discrimination, and bigotry.

May 3, 2020 – Statement encouraging the Acton Board of Selectmen to use CPA (Community Preservation Act) funds toward the rental assistance fund for residents affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

April 5, 2020 – Statement endorsing 1) voting by mail, 2) same day voter registration, and 3) no excuse absentee voting and all legislation forthwith.

April 5, 2020 – Endorsement of Danillo Sena for the 37th Middlesex state representative seat.

February 23, 2020 – Statement in support of the We the People Act.

February 23, 2020 – Statement in support of the Rank Choice Voting ballot question.

February 23, 2020 – Appointed member Ginny Dow by acclamation as the ADTC representative for the Acton Climate Coalition.

January 12, 2020 – Donation of funds to the Poitras Center for Psychiatric Disorders at MIT in support of Bob and Deena Ferrara and in memory of their son Michael.

October 27, 2019 – Statement endorsing the Safe Communities Act which Senator Eldridge is again sponsoring.

May 19, 2019 – Endorsement of both Rank Choice Voting bills now being debated in the State House.

January 6, 2019 – Endorsement of Sam Fieldman for the Proposition 2 Commission appointment.
