The Acton Democratic Town Committee will host a caucus of Registered Democrats in Acton at the Nagog Woods Clubhouse, 100 Nonset Path, off Route 2A/119 in North Acton on Sunday, May 19 at 4pm. At this Caucus, we will elect up to 14 delegates (7 men and 7 women) and 3 alternates to attend the 2019 Massachusetts Democratic Issues Convention on Saturday, September 14 in Springfield, MA.
Any registered Democrat in Acton is eligible to become a delegate. Youth, minorities and people with disabilities who are not elected as delegates or alternates may apply to be add-on delegates. All ballots will be written and secret. This is a great way to get involved and learn about the process.
A regular Acton Democratic Town Committee meeting will be held at 6PM after the Caucus.
