  Text Box:   For Democracy to succeed, citizens must participate in the process.      The Acton Democratic Town Committee discusses how national, state, and local policy issues affect different groups in the community. The members form an opinion and express their views to policy makers. Without this interaction, local, state, and national governments become isolated from the people and begin to govern from a narrow base, dominated by special interests. We are always looking for people interested in joining our organization.
